We make progress differently.
We at Progress Tutors ensure our students have the skills and knowledge to progress and to achieve their full potential. We provide top quality teaching through the use of the best ICT equipment on the market. We make sure progress is made. We teach GCSE Mathematics online with a bespoke course designed to give each and every student the skills they need to pass or achieve whatever grade they desire in their examinations from the comfort of their own home.
Working in smaller groups the amount of learning and progress that our students can achieve is limitless. We believe that learning in small groups can be extremely beneficial, as the students will not only learn from our highly skilled tutors, but their peers as well. We strive to give each group the skills and the confidence to develop and progress as a team, where the students and tutor work together to support each other to achieve their goals.

About US
We make progress differently.
I have worked in Education, specialising in Maths and SEN, since 1996. During this time I have taught pupils of differing abilities, preferring to work with smaller groups. With these groups I feel I am at my best, working on a more one-to-one basis with pupils. I enjoy the opportunity to help pupils to develop their self-confidence through success.
In the summer of 2015 I also took on the role of GCSE Maths Examiner for an exam board. This has helped me to further my understanding of mark schemes and how strictly they are adhered to. Tutoring the children of family and friends has allowed me to stay current with the different levels of Maths, from KS2 to GCSE (both Higher and Foundation).

I have taught in a range of different secondary schools and colleges across Greater Manchester over the past 9 years and successfully tutored students for 5 years both in person and online. I have a background in Maths, Sport, Coaching and Psychology. My experience of working in a range of schools has meant I have worked with students of all abilities, cultures and backgrounds, which has allowed me to adapt my teaching styles to prioritise our students needs.
I believe creating and delivering interesting lessons that incorporate different learning styles; this way I consistently maintain pupil interest. I have also planned and delivered differentiated and personalised lessons for SEN and EAL students and have employed strategies for dyslexic and ADHD students. I am now familiar with a range of diverse needs and I have developed and implemented successful strategies to accommodate these differentiated student requirements.

We make progress differently.
Each of our sessions are designed to work through a different mathematical concept. We aim to break them down to the basics and give students the methods and skills to understand the concept and to build progress to be able to successfully complete an exam style question.
We teach our students using a top range tablet. As you can see from the image on the left go break down questions (scaffolding learning) and talk through how to problem solve.
